Seven ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Leaders Among Daily Record's 50 Most Influential ϡȱÁÔÆæÍøers for 2007
ADELPHI, Md. (March 30, 2007) - Seven individuals representing the University
System of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) have been named among 50 "Influential ϡȱÁÔÆæÍøers for 2007"
by the Baltimore-based Daily Record
business and legal newspaper.
The editors of The Daily Record selected five winners
in each of 10 categories that reflect significant segments of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø's civic, commercial, and professional activity: civic
leadership, communications, finance, education, health care, law, philanthropy,
real estate, and technology. In making their selections, the editors added a
10th "freestyle" category to include some very influential ϡȱÁÔÆæÍøers who did
not fit neatly into one of the other categories.
The following individuals--representing
ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø's leadership in undergraduate and professional education, research and
development, technology transfer, and athletics--are among the 50 honorees who
will be recognized on Friday, April 25, 2007, at the Baltimore
Museum of Art:
