ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets Jan. 10

Baltimore, Md. (Jan. 6, 2023) – The ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will hold its next scheduled meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The committee will vote on new academic degree programs at Bowie State University; Coppin State University; Frostburg State University (one in conjunction with the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Center for Environmental Science); Towson University; University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, College Park; and University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Global Campus.

Information items before the committee include results of a 7-year review of academic programs; a report on extramural funding (fiscal year 2022); and a report on ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø faculty workload for 2021-22.

The committee will vote on whether to reconvene to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are Regents’ Faculty Awards recommendations and nominations for honorary degrees.
