ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets January 12

Baltimore, Md. (Jan. 8, 2021) – The ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life will hold its next scheduled meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12.

The committee will vote on several proposed academic programs. Those programs are a M.S. in Health Professions Education at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, Baltimore; a B.S. in Mechatronics at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, College Park; and a B.S. in Sport Management at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Eastern Shore.

Information items before the committee are results of a 7-year review of academic programs; a report on ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø faculty workload (2019-20); and a report on extramural funding (fiscal year 2020).

The committee will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are Regents’ Faculty Awards recommendations and nominations for honorary degrees.
