ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets March 6; Audit Committee to Discuss Independent Auditor Procurement at 8:30 a.m. March 6

Baltimore, Md. (March 4, 2020) – The ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life at its next meeting will vote on new academic program proposals and hear an update on system-wide student success initiatives.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6. The meeting will take place in the Chesapeake Ballroom Salon A of the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center of the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Global Campus, 3501 University Blvd. East, Adelphi, MD.

Additionally, a phone call meeting for the Committee on Audit has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6 regarding procurement of an independent auditor. The public can access the discussion via the dial-in number of 1-877-960-8069 and the participant pass code is 4451900. The Committee on Audit will vote on whether to use the independent audit firm, or to conduct a separate search for a different independent audit firm.


At the 9:30 a.m. Committee on Education Policy and Student Life meeting, the degree program proposals are from the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, College Park: a B.S. in Biocomputational Engineering; a M.A. in International Relations; and a M.S. in Applied Political Analytics.

The committee will receive an update on the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø new student enrollment pipeline and aggregate student success. There will also be updates on ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø P-20 initiatives and crisis management/enterprise risk management in the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø.
