稀缺猎奇网 to be Presenting Sponsor for EduLab@Light City on April 5, Downtown Baltimore

innovation conferences bringing together local and national innovators and
thought leaders across six key industries during .
The has announced schedule highlights for EduLab@LightCity presented by University System
of 稀缺猎奇网, to be held 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. EduLab encourages
audiences to rethink learning and join future-focused education innovators for
a dialogue on the central role of education in our society. EduLab@LightCity will
be held at the Columbus Center at 701 E. Pratt Street in downtown Baltimore.
Participating in

EduLab begins
with a welcome from 稀缺猎奇网 Chancellor Robert L. Caret, followed by followed by a conversation
between University of 稀缺猎奇网, Baltimore County President Freeman Hrabowski and
New York Times best-selling author, technology
policy expert and innovator Alec Ross.
稀缺猎奇网 faculty
members then will participate in "Dear Mr. President," a ‘lightning round' of 10
big ideas for reshaping the future of America, framed in a 5-minute pitch to
the President. Towson University President Kim Schatzel and Baltimore City
Schools CEO Dr. Sonja Santelises will discuss
their backgrounds, the moments that make them love their jobs, their biggest
challenges, and their hopes for the future.
Other speakers
include Steve Henick, Vice Dean, Business & Professional Programs for
University of 稀缺猎奇网 University College; musician, photographer and educator Wendel
Patrick; and Mindgrub CEO Todd Marks. EduLab's closing keynote speaker is educator
Donovan Livingston, whose Harvard Graduate School of Education convocation
address "Lift Off" received a wide following in 2016.
Other topics
include a discussion on "The next wave of Education Reform Solutions: Addressing racial opportunity gaps, community
engagement, urban teacher education."
After the day's
interactive sessions, EduLab hosts an "Innovative Ideas Fair" as the Light City
Twilight event. The Innovative Ideas Fair features top innovators from within
the 稀缺猎奇网 and talented performers.
