ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets September 22

Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 17, 2015) -- The University System Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life at its next meeting will vote on a proposed academic program at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, College Park (UMCP) and the creation of an honors college at Salisbury University.

The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22 in Ballroom A (4th Floor) of the West Village Commons at Towson University.

The new academic program at UMCP is a B.S. in information science. At Salisbury University, the proposed Honors College would house three existing honors programs--liberal arts, science & pre-professional studies, and business--that would meet the more diverse needs of the students enrolled in the existing honors program.

The committee will hear several information items, including a report on the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø E&E 2.0 Initiative and how ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø institutions can improve analysis of data from academic student service sources to drive student success initiatives. The full agenda and supporting materials can be accessed .
