ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets May 12

Adelphi, Md. (May 8, 2015) -- The ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life at its next meeting will vote on several new academic programs and approval of the annual progress report on institutional programs of cultural diversity.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 in the President's Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Office Building at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, Baltimore (UMB). The building is located at 220 North Arch Street in Baltimore, Md.

The new academic programs are five B.A. degree programs in the music department at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, Baltimore County; a B.S. in health sciences at Coppin State University; and an M.S. in learning design and technology at University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø University College.

The annual progress report on institutional programs of cultural diversity entails every ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø institution and must be submitted by the full board to the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Higher Education Commission by September 1, 2015.

The committee also will hear several information items, including a legislative session update and a campus crime report.  The full agenda with supporting materials can be found .
