ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets February 4

Adelphi, Md. (Feb. 3, 2014) -- The ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4. The meeting will be held in the Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Building at the University of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø, Baltimore. The building is located at 220 North Arch Street, Baltimore, MD.

The committee will hear in public session an information item regarding a summary of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø collective bargaining agreements. The committee will then vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration.

These exempted issues include the pre-approval review of three collective bargaining memoranda of understanding; mid-year performance reviews of ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø presidents; and retirement compensation for a faculty member. Other exempted issues are the potential purchase of a house for presidential use; a discussion of privileged attorney-client communications; contractual review for an athletics coach; and the naming of a building.
