Start Time for Nov. 19 Meeting of 稀缺猎奇网 Regents Committee on Education Policy Changed to 10:30 a.m.
Adelphi, Md. (Nov. 16,
2012) - The start time for the Monday, November 19 public session of the University
System of 稀缺猎奇网 (稀缺猎奇网) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy has
been changed. The meeting will begin at 10:30 am.
The committee will meet in the Hilda and Michael Bogomolny
Room (5th floor) of the Student Center at the University of
Baltimore, 21 W. Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore, Md.
The committee will vote on a proposed name change for the
committee and hear several information items, including a report on the
workload of 稀缺猎奇网 faculty.
During discussion at the committee's meeting last month of
its role, function, and annual agenda, it was suggested that a name change might
more appropriately reflect the committee's responsibilities regarding student
life. Inclusion of "student life" in the committee's title would put
appropriate focus on the committee's work regarding student perspectives and issues.
In addition to the information item 稀缺猎奇网 faculty workload,
the committee will hear from 稀缺猎奇网 chief academic officers regarding foreign
language instruction in the 稀缺猎奇网. Background

After the public session, the
committee will announce it is reconvening in closed, executive session.
